Questions at the helm
- Is it free to list a tool on WorthToTry?
- Yes, launching a tool is completely free and asks for nothing in return. No account, API key, badge, or backlink is required. Listed tools appear on the same board in the same queue with no reduced tier or asterisk.
- How can I list my product on WorthToTry?
- You can list your tool by pasting your product's URL into the form on the website, which automatically fetches and drafts the listing from your site. Alternatively, you can install the agent skill at worthtotry.com/skill.md and instruct your AI agent to list the product, completing submission in under 30 seconds.
- Are listings ranked by who paid the most?
- No. WorthToTry does not rank listings by payment. Instead, tools are ranked by community votes. Paid options such as pinning a listing for a week or booking a sidebar slot provide placement options but do not move a listing above those with more votes.
- What data is available about the tools in the directory?
- Each tool listing includes its name, tagline, description, website, pricing model, and whether it is open source. Additionally, 711 of the 865 listings carry written overviews describing what the product does well and what to verify before committing. The entire catalogue is available as free JSON and can be reused under Creative Commons license.
